Casa Tunisi was beautiful, modern, artistic and spacious. It was spotless and had everything one could want with a beautiful balcony and views. Very secure, well kept building and a great location.
Visit Palermo is one of the best holiday companies I have ever dealt with. Absolutely faultless service in every respect with the staff going above and beyond to make the holiday perfect. I can't praise Visit Palermo highly enough. Thank you!
The personalised service was excellent and staff responded to emails very quickly -- often within minutes! The description of the apartment was very accurate with plenty of pictures and Visit Palermo helpfully arranged airport transfers and welcome packages.
To improve? Nothing. The service we received was faultless and exemplary.
Don't miss the Opera at Teatro Massimo!
Wonderful apartment, right in the heart of the city. Had everything we needed and could have wanted. It was lovely to sit on the terrace and enjoy the sun setting behind the mountains. Francesca was very helpful and answered all of our questions quickly and efficiently. Francesca also helped arrange transfers to and from the apartment, as well as additional baby equipment that we required.
Partez tranquille !
Incredibly helpful and responsive to all our requests! They found us a beautiful apartment for a reasonable price for our stay in Palermo and got back to us quickly for all our other vacation queries.
I loved: Access to accommodations not found elsewhere. Friendly personal service. Willingness to handle any requests from renting a car to purchasing a beach umbrella.
I can't think of anything to improve the service of VisitPalermo!
Casa Tunisi was lovely! Tastefully decorated without being too fancy and very comfortable. The top floor of an elevator building, it had all the amenities we required from kitchen supplies to wifi/TV/air conditioning. We loved returning there after a day of touring to relax in the living room or on the terrace.
The location was great also. We had a car (that we were easily able to park on the same street by paying about 6-8 Euro per day in the meter), but it was only a five minute walk to a fabulous food market; main downtown shopping area; restaurants, etc.
I highly recommend staying here.
What to do in Sicily: Beautiful places to swim and sun (Such as Cefalu, Terrassini; Addaura and Mondello, all near Palermo for day trips).
My favorite city though is Taormina, on the other side of the island. I had a magical night at the opera under the stars in the ancient greek amphitheater there one night during our stay.
Absolutely beautiful, huge apartment with large and lovely terrace. Right by Teatro Massimo and Capo Market. A really luxurious apartment to indulge during your stay in Palermo!
We have found VisitPalermo thanks to search engine (i.e google, yahoo, bing)/motori di ricerca and we really love the website - very clear and easy to navigate. I appreciated the response time because was excellent and very friendly.
The apartment (Casa Tunisi) was really comfortable and well equipped with amazing views. It was great to have the outside space and we felt very safe.
Fantastic host/owner with an impeccable apartment. The location and the apartment itself are both perfect. Book this one without hesitation. I doubt there is a better option anywhere around Palermo. Thank you for having us! We hope we have been as courteous as you have been!
VisitPalermo is s really interesting site. I liked how uncommercial it was. It certainly made me want to come to Palermo. It had an 'alternative' feeling about it. The background section was excellent and easy to navigate. The apartments all look amazing.
I loved the site was refreshingly honest and quirky
The apartments looked unique.
I cannot thing about anything to improve the service.. I love it as it is.
Casa Tunisi is an elegant haven of calm to retreat to after the heat and chaos of Palermo
The owner Giovanella was extremely kind and generous. She provided us with bread, biscuits and milk on arrival. Was there when arrived very late after a delayed flight, helped us when our baggage was delayed. Could not ask for a more delightful hostess
The apartment itself was very stylish and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, wifi and air conditioning .
What to do in Sicily: Spent 3 nights in Isole Salina: beautiful unspoilt island with very few tourists . Beautiful Hotel Signum. Great nature walks boat trips and swimming.the island Felt very relaxed and unspoilt
Palermo was so different: gritty, real and untouristy. The people seemed friendly and generous. The food was wonderful . The atmosphere walking those narrow streets with so many decayed churches and historic sights all around was magical.
I very much like to thank Francesca for her outstanding service. So quick, helpful, I felt nothing was too much trouble. So good to have someone to text to organize taxis etc. really exceptional Thanks so much!
We loved our stay at Casa Tunisi. It was beautifully furnished and the rooms were lovely and spacious, so it was very easy to relax in! Being on the top floor we also had a great view, and my 6 year old son had a ball going up and down the elevator. In fact it was his favourite thing about Palermo :)
We were met upon arrival, and were able to leave the keys and let ourselves out at the end of the stay, so coming and going was also very easy.
In terms of location it was great. We were only a 1 minute walk from Palermo’s famous food market, and only a few minutes walk from the heart of the city and shopping precinct.
We had a car with us and weren’t sure where to park. Our hosts were very helpful with showing us the closest car park where we could leave it for our stay (finding free parking on the street is pretty much impossible), and they also kindly booked a taxi for our friend who had to catch a flight out of Palermo at 5.30am on our last day.
All in all, a great place in a great location in Palermo, with very friendly and helpful hosts - highly recommended!
I found VisitPalermo.it thanks to search engine (i.e google, yahoo, bing) and I have find the servicevery helpful - thank you!
I really appreciated the fact that VisitPalermo staff helped us with our questions and organised a taxi for us from the airport to Casa Tunisi - much appreciated, and our taxi driver Paolo was lovely!
Casa Tunisi was wonderful in every way and had everything we needed. Inside it was clean, comfortable and beautiful and the roof terrace overlooking Palermo was great for breakfast and evening. The location in the centre of Palermo was very convenient for walking to shops, markets and restaurants. Please pass on our thanks to Giovanella - the owner - we really enjoyed our stay.
About what to do in Palermo: Old buildings, churches, Capella Palletina, the temples at Agrigento, Cefalu, markets, lovely fresh food and wine.
VisitPalermo.it is an excellent, friendly and professional service! The apartment was ideal, perhaps a little expensive but nevertheless excellent.
What to do in Palermo: visit the city and the countryside.
