Guascone apartment Bellini - Palermo (centre)

The apartments of Vicolo Guascone offer the comforts of a boutique-hotel and the warm hospitality of a real home in the historical centre of Palermo. The apartments were renewed in 2014 and what sets them apart is their peculiar mix of top quality finishings with contemporary design: an elegant match of Sicilian Art Nouveau furniture from the 1800s and pieces of modern and industrial design.

The apartment Guascone Bellini is located on the fourth floor (the building has an elevator). The living room features a spacious and elegant balcony and also a wonderful terrace with a view over the roofs and bell towers of the palazzos and the most important churches of Palermo, such as Casa Professa, the Martorana church, the church of Santa Caterina and many others. The apartment has a modern living room, a comfortable bathroom with shower, and a spacious double bedroom with a balcony with a view over the roofs of the historical centre. The apartment is air conditioned and has Wi-Fi internet. There is a laundry on the ground floor.

Thanks to its central location, in just a few minutes you can walk to the main historical markets, the most famous baroque churches, the museums and noble palaces of Palermo.
The central station is only ten minutes by foot. Even if located in the heart of the city centre, you will enjoy peace and quiet in this typical Sicilian lane, far from the infamous traffic of Palermo.
Just 5 minutes walk away there is a bus stop where you can reach Massimo and Politeama theatres, and also Mondello with its beach and typical restaurants.

VisitPalermo was offered a fantastic service to help me plan my trip to Palermo! VisitPalermo's best feature is its employees! Francesca was so quick to respond to all my emails (there were a lot), and helped us find the perfect apartment to stay in for a month in Palermo. She answered all my questions and gave me many options to choose from that were within our budget. They handled our business securely, provided me all the paperwork we needed, and in the end were very flexible in meeting our needs. Marta is a also a fantastic resource once you arrive in Sicily and can stop by the office - thanks to these girls it feels like you have local knowledge at your fingertips the moment you land in Palermo. I had a great experience with them and would recommend it to people traveling here. It would be great if there were more apartments available in a lower budget for longer term stays. Guascone Bellini was a beautiful apartment - the furniture and architectural details of the apartment are very tasteful, modern Sicilian style. The apartment felt very safe, and Ignazio and his family were readily available for any questions or concerns (such as forgotten keys). The location is perfect - walkable to all locations in the historic center, accessible to public transportation, and close to some good Bangladeshi restaurants if you are looking to mix it up. Of course the most amazing part is the terrace. It is huge! The plants are gorgeous and the furniture offers a whole private space to relax and enjoy the views of Palermo. My son enjoyed spending evenings out there! Our favorite thing has just been walking around the historic center. Without planning, we have stumbled onto gorgeous medieval churches, amazing graffiti, and cheap and delicious street food. Steri is a must see and the rooftop of Rinascente has great views!

21/09/2015 - Anna-Lena S. is Informative, have beautiful apartments and good service! I loved The apartment and the friendly and helpful stuff. To improve: Maybe the website could get an update. Guascone Apartement Bellini was perfect - we had so many lovely evenings on the roof terrace. The apartment was very clean and comfy. What to do in Palermo: Kalsa is a very nice area. We liked Obicà at La Rinacente, Mondello Bay, the modern museum and the little trips to Cefalú by train and to Ustica by ferry.

Very informative and good service, quick responses without delay. I really loved The ability to be able to help with a wide range of desires that tourists might have, giving advice and help not only on citymaps and tours but als how to book tickets and arrange prvate guides etc... The apartment Guascone in vicolo Guascone,Palermo, was a very beautiful, spacious and well-kept apartment with a wonderful rooftop terrace. Location was very good for visiting Palermo, kitchen a bit small but functions for 2 people, nearby are two good markets for shopping. Best of all, the apartment has airconditioning and quiet at night. Neighbours are friendly! what to do in Sicily: La scala dei Turchi, Agrigento, Siracusa and the old town,Taormina,Vucciria and Ballaro markets in Palermo, a concert in Teatro Massimo in Palermo, the best thing is the local people-very friendly and helpful!

What I think about VisitPalermo: we were pleased by the selection of apartments and the correspondence was smooth and efficient, and we loved our apartment in palermo. Guascone Apartment bellini was absolutely wonderful. Beautifully renovated. The huge terrace was especially nice. It was a bit tricky finding it, even with an experienced cab driver. The street looked a little dicey but once you settle in you realize what a great location it is. We loved the Midcentury furnishings. Really was a highlight of our stay. About Palermo we loved just walking the streets. San Lorenzo oratorio with its stupendous plaster sculpture was a gem

We were very impressed with all the help we received from VisitPalermo, whether directly through email or on their comprehensive website. They are also very modern with accounts in all social media. We really appreciate the personal service and the use of an apartment during our stay that we could blog about and promote. It was so very kind. I can't think of anything to improve VisitPalermo service! The apartment was beautiful! Perfect for a family and so central to many attractions. We loved it and really appreciate it. We loved the beautiful churches in Palermo and we love gelato. We spent two weeks in Cefalu and really just loved pretending that we lived in Sicily - buying from the shops and markets each day, cooking in our kitchen. It was wonderful.
